Casa Giulia is in Corsico, a town on the Naviglio Grande canal, 16 km from Milan's Duomo. We are 300 meters from the canal, 5 minutes from Forum Assago, and 15 minutes from Milan's Navigli district by car, tram or metro.

We are not in the heart of Milan's nightlife — we are in its slower version, where evenings smell of the old canal, where you can cycle the towpath, and where the traditional trattorias still serve what Milanese families come for on Sundays.

The Naviglio Grande, on which Corsico sits, was dug starting in 1179.

It carried the Candoglia marble used to build the Milan Cathedral.

Leonardo da Vinci designed its locks.

For 700 years it was Milan's commercial highway.

Corsico, since the 1100s

Corsico is a small town born as a medieval agricultural village in the 12th century, along the Naviglio's waterway. It was a crossroads for goods heading to Milan: wine from Piedmont, marble from the Alps, salt and fabrics from Ligurian ports.

Today it's a 35,000-resident town, well connected to Milan but with its own identity. A place where kids still cycle along the canal towpath, where summer festivals are held in Milanese dialect, where lunch in the local trattorias means risotto alla milanese, cassoeula and cotoletta done properly.

Staying at Casa Giulia means discovering this slower Milan,

Yes. Self check-in via key box, accessible 24/7. We send you the key box code via WhatsApp the day before arrival, so you can enter at any time, day or night.

Casa Giulia is a guesthouse-style rental, not a B&B with breakfast service. There's a shared kitchen with kettle, moka coffee maker and basic equipment. Bars and bakeries 50 meters away.

Yes. P.IVA 14309050962 (Ermelinda de Rose D.I., flat-rate tax, ATECO 552042 guesthouse). Invoice issued to the patient for health insurance reimbursement and related medical expense deductions. Request at check-in or via WhatsApp.

Yes, free street parking right outside (Via IV Novembre, Corsico — white lines). Unlike central Milan, you don't pay. No ZTL restrictions in this area.

💳 How does payment and cancellation work?+

Direct booking via WhatsApp: payment by bank transfer or card at arrival. Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in, then 50% of first night as penalty. Booking/Airbnb have their own specific policies.

🏛️ City tax?+

Corsico municipality: €3.00 per person per night (up to max 5 consecutive nights). Exempt: under-14s and hospital patients/their companions with certificate. Paid in cash at check-in or via bank transfer.
